If I could give the food 5 stars I would but the service is poor for a couple or small group. As a couple dining there last night, the server didn't have any chit chat with us but there was a 12 person table that got the history of Doe's and all the great things and we simply got served and hardly checked on but with no dialogue. It wasn't a busy night so I really can't explain it other than they knew our table wasn't worth their time because the tip would be larger on the bigger table. One of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Great atmosphere all the staff were super friendly. If we are ever back in town we will definitely be eating there again.

The last time we ate there I ordered the bone in ribeye and it was the best steak I’ve ever had. Cooked perfect and the flavor was awesome. But this time my steak was so raw I couldn’t eat much at all and there was no flavor. Have no idea what happened but didn’t enjoy my steak at all!
Steak was excellent as always. I’m giving it 3 stars due to the horrible service we received from our waiter. Hopefully Doe’s gets that straightened out.
We heard so many positive comments about Doe’s. We made a reservation for our anniversary. The staff was great. We were told by the server they were known for their steaks. We ordered a filet. The steak had absolutely no flavor. We were so undecided on how we felt about our experience. We loved the building and the history but we decided we preferred another restaurant over Doe’s based on the lack of flavor.
