I had a virtual health meeting and I felt very ignored and dismissed on my call. I had a recommendation for course of treatment by a licensed dermatologist and that course of treatment was completely ignored by the doctor, they prescribed antibiotics, rather than the necessary and recommended prednisone. I reminded the doctor multiple times this was NOT an infection, yet an out of control allergic reaction. Dr.Chawla understands the needs of the patient and the urgency. He is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and although he did not know me nor my medical history,he was able to precisely and quickly analyze the situation. One of the few doctors who knows what the Hippocratic oath means. I highly recommend this doctor . Very efficient
It says that OHIP holders don’t have to pay but it still prompts you to pay even when you’ve selected OHIP holder and filled in your health card correctly.
I’m very unhappy with the service. I booked a virtual appt as I thought it will be convenient since most of the in-person walk-in clinics are closed by the time I’m done working. However, I was called by a physician assistant who sounded very impatient while I try to explain the reason for my consult. Interrupting while I was still speaking and raising his voice at times he couldn’t understand me. The way he communicated was very unprofessional and incompassionate.
