Everything was great staff and hospital
The team of doctors performed a steller job. However, there was a huge failure by the nursing and hospital administration staff. First, regarding our experience, we were in the ER for three days because there were no hospital rooms available until that time. Second, and most importantly, the worst part about the entire stay at this hospital (including our three days in the ER) is that NONE of the nurses or CNAs turned my mother or changed her for FIVE DAYS straight. I am very upset that from my December 18 surgery, I recently found out I have two stitches still in the incision area. I don’t understand why the surgeon didn’t count and record the number of stitches so she could make sure that she got them all out. Also because of the holidays, the stitches were left in too long. Isn’t there an alternative?
