I went to the ER because I was there yesterday morning with a horrible headache with nausea and vomiting and thank goodness for a Dr. Mathews who took great care of me and wanted to admit me but I was stubborn and went home and here I am again with the same issues. I got triaged around midnight and was given a shot of benedryl and reglan which does not work and I'm still waiting in the waiting room for going on 5 hours and have tried numerus times about what is going on with me but everyone just gave me the run around. I went to DMC ER with a horrible migraine with nausea and vomiting for 2 weeks. The only issue was the long wait. I was seen by Dr. Mathews. He was extremely busy but made time to listen to me and ordered a CT scan, blood work and meds. It was very refreshing to see that Dr. Mathews took his time and explained the results of the CT scan. He even suggested that he should admit me so I can get help with the pain. I now have a little bit more knowledge of what is actually causing my headaches.
