My wife went here in Oct. of 2023 with a bad cough. Before seeing the doctor, she was asked if she wanted a covid and flu test. Since our medical insurance is not what it was while we were working, she specifically asked what they would cost. She was told there would be no charge for those tests. We had covid tests at home {which were coming up negative}, but since they said there was no charge, it was a good opportunity to see if there was a difference in tests. Again, she came up negative. Made an online check in on Sunday morning. Got an email 30 minutes before time to be there. Was greeted by Bailey who was professional and friendly! Saw the FNP who was also professional, friendly and helpful. I have been going to Doctors Care in Surfside ever since i moved here from North Carolina and recommend them Highly!!!
This Doctor's Care was just amazing. I went in with no appointment and was finished in an hour and a half. The receptionist is sweet, calm, soothing, and most patient. The nurse, Susan, went out of her way to make me feel comfortable as quickly as possible. She stayed by my side until the diagnosis was complete. Then the doctor arrived and explained my problem and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this facility.
Still waiting an hour after online registration said to be here. Still had to fill out the same stupid paperwork for at least the 10th time this year. Still had to get my license and insurance card copied for the 10th time. Still have to explain why I 'm here in front of the whole waiting room. Still have not heard from anyone regarding the same bad review a month ago. Ridiculous
I have left another negative review and no one has gotten back to me. Just left a lengthy 2-star review. We'll see if there's a response.
I went to Doctor's Care at 64 Bluffton Rd. If you have any alternative, TAKE IT. Made an appointment online for 1:09 pm yesterday. I walked (limped) in and the 1st thing the reception said to me is "I hope you don't want an xray cause we don't have one"....? I said I might as well see a Dr. as long as I am here. I was given approx 4 pages of forms to fill out, and give my Ins. and and Drivers License to be scanned. Very Frustrated- my little baby (9 months old) had a very visible double ear infection while on vacation in N Myrtle Beach. We went to Doctors Care N Myrtle beach (phoned ahead, confirmed availability etc.). On arrival we had to fill in multiple forms (as expected). We then had to wait 4.5 HOURS to be seen by a doctor.... the wait, with a very uncomfortable, in pain, infant is excruciating! It was RIDICULOUS just trying to get checked in. I was there yesterday at 9:05 - 5 min after opening & had to wait outside in the rain, very sick, with a back brace and knee brace on, just to get in the door, because they weren't letting anyone stay in the waiting room! This place is a joke. They close at 4pm but make rules up as they go. My husband needed his stitches out an we got there at 240pm and they refused him saying they weren’t taking anymore patients…
