Horrible Dentist and Staff your paying when you shouldn't be or have to, STAY AWAY. Was recommended to see this dentist for a chronic tooth ache. He determined the issue was under a crown done by another very reputable dentist and that I needed a root canal and another permanent crown. He cut off a permanent crown and put a temporary crown on without disclosing cost or how much the entirety of the procedure would be. So I lost a permanent crown and was left with a temp. Honestly I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. Chan I came to him with extreme fear and anxiety to the point where I cried, I was so scared he reassured me I was going to be ok and he was going to take care of me and I was in amazing hands of himself and his wonderful staff, I just had 2 surgeries done by him and his bedside manner is top notch he made me feel so safe, answered all my questions and very understanding. Dr Roy Chan has been an amazing dentist for me since moving to Kingston. Not only does he have a wonderful personality, he is very knowledgeable and explains all options related to some of my dental complications in a clear manner without being pushy. He cares about his work and it shows. He is also surrounded by lovely support staff. Thank you Dr Roy Chan dentistry, keep up the great work!
Dr. Chan has been my dentist since I grew my first baby tooth. He is the kindest, most considerate, generous, and talented dentist. I have nothing but amazing things to say about him, his team, and his genuinely caring nature. If I could give him a trillion stars, I would. A+++ dentist and an A+++ human.
Initially I was super happy with the service at this dental office but then the bill was $640 over the predetermination amount and no one said a thing!! They just punched it in and told me how much to pay. Didn’t discuss it with me or explain why. Nothing. That’s just inexcusable in my books. Even when I called later and was given their reasoning for the extra charges, I didn’t see the amount as being completely justified nor did they seem to care about the unexpected financial burden it placed on me.
