Visiting from San Antonio my girlfriend and I decided to try something new. We wanted to try a really good seafood restaurant in Corpus. Doc's was one of the top places recommended online. Upon arriving we were seated quickly. The staff was very friendly. Our food was served to us about 30 minutes after we had ordered it. The food looked delicious and was hot(temperature wise). We brought the fish my fiancé caught on a deep sea trip and they grilled it up for us and it was DELICIOUS. The sides we ordered with the fish were great and the Mediterranean sauce I had was the best thing I've ever had, as far as sauces go! Service was excellent and the views are amazing. We loved Docs and we will go back next time we're in town.

I loved it there's the food people and the view. It's always my favorite place to go when I'm in padre island look forward to going there again.
I thought it was very pricey & the service was slow. We were there after the normal lunch hour, there appeared to be only 4 or 5 other parties. We waited a long time for a waitress to appear, while watching people we assumed worked there, in Doc T-shirts. She took our drink order, 2 people & got one wrong. First drinks took a long time & then got the second try, another wait. Then I asked for a glass & an orange slice (way normally served), another wait. I had a HORRIBLE experience at Doc's. Firstly, we called ahead to make reservation for 7 people and we were told that wasn't possible. We then asked if we could possibly get a table for 3 and a table for 4. The hostess said a table for 3 would be 15 min. and a table for 4 would take 45 min. How is that possible? The hostesses were not honest. They said they would pull tables together then didn't.
