It took me years to find a good stylist in Utah that can cut curly hair. Kristin is absolutely amazing. She explains when the shaping of the hair requires losing some length and shows you how and why she needs to shape the way she does but always leaves it up to you! I have very thick hair and it can be difficult to shape. I have been coming here for years! The commute is long for me so I have branched out to different stylist closer to home, but I find myself always coming back here because it’s worth the drive! I love my hair, which is something I was never able to say for the first 3/4 of my life.

I've been going to Kristin for a few years now, and every appointment is a great experience. She truly understands curly hair, which can be hard to find, so I trust her completely with both my cuts and color. I usually get my hair cut every few months and color every other month, and she's always able to bring my vision to life. Doc’s Curly Hair Haven has been a lifesaver for me and my daughter. My daughter has very curly hair and Kristen has taught her how to maximize her beauty through middle school and now high school. She is confident and embraces her curls thanks to Kristen’s knowledge and expertise. I have also benefited from Kristen’s knowledge because I like to switch it up curly and straight. My daughter has struggled with her curly hair for years. The stylists we went to were great and kind but did not understand how to cut curly hair.
