For the past 6 years, my favorite haircuts and color have been at Doc's! She listens to the little details of how I want my cut and color and works with me. It's hard to find people who "get" curly hair, but she is a pro! I always get compliments on my hair!

Very disappointing experience. I paid a lot for what was supposed to be a curly hair specialist, but my haircut was uneven with random short pieces that make no sense. I asked for no more than 3–4 inches off, but over 12 were taken in some areas. I also paid for both my boys’ haircuts — I asked for shorter cuts, but was told it wouldn’t lay flat. It still didn’t, and I had to take them elsewhere to fix it. Definitely not worth the cost.

I scheduled a hair trim and a root touch up for my first time here. I do like how my roots came out but after seeing how short my hair was after the cut I wasn’t happy. When I talked to Kristen a day after my appointment, I shared how upset I was about the length of my hair. She was kind enough to explain why she cut it so short, but during our appointment I didn’t receive a thorough consultation, I didn’t get to see the back of my head, and the pricing wasn’t discussed. This is the first time in my adult life that I am totally in love with my curls! I have been straightening my hair for years and have finally decided to embrace my curly hair and be my authentic self.
