Docken Management is a fantastic team to work with if you are looking for an apartment or housing in Madison. Having two daughters graduate from UW-Madison I have worked with several property management companies and Docken is far above the rest. The properties are clean and safe. My daughter has stayed in two different apartments, and both times they were thoroughly cleaned and ready with a fresh coat of paint. Lived here for two years and it was great. Paul was always friendly and easy to work with, and much more flexible than the big management companies in Madison. Maintenance requests were typically looked at and fixed within 24 hours of contacting the office. The price was super reasonable compared to similarly sized units in the area. Really enjoyed it and will miss living there.
Final Update August 27, 2024: My son received his full security deposit back in a timely manner. I'll close by saying, Docken Management is a rare find. Docken has such a great management and maintenance team. They're so responsive and care about the property. They are not your average rental company. I've lived in two different units as a renter (Lakewood Gardens).They offer different style units and some are really unique and customized based on previous owners/renters.
