I was recommended this place by a friend and it everything she said it would be! At first i drove past it twice because i was expecting a sign of some sort. It looks like a house so that threw me off.but once i realized where it was it was smooth sailing from there. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great! My family lives in a city that offers a direct flight to a popular beach. It would be so much easier to hop on a plane and go to that beach but year after year, we drive seven (plus) hours to vacation at Virginia Beach. Doc Taylor’s is a huge part of this decision. Between service, quality, and atmosphere this is where you want to be for breakfast/lunch when you visit Virginia Beach. Breakfast cocktails and overflow seating while you wait for your table. Everyone chatting with everyone else in the room. Regulars and tourists bond over homestyle cooking and classic hits playing at a reasonable volume conducive to a relaxing morning. Good vibes only!
We stop there every time we visit the beach. It is a hidden gem. Very nice local atmosphere. It is honestly our first stop before we even check in, we enjoy having drinks at the bar to start our weekend getaway.
I don't visit Virginia Beach without Breakfast/brunch at Doc Taylor's. Could not be better!
Great food, great service, worth the wait. I wished I would’ve found this place when I moved here 3 years ago. I look forward to next time.
