Don't trust them with your well earned money! – I went to Dobbs and bought 4 new tires and an alignment thinking I was getting a great deal. Plus they seem to have great customer service. Don't be fooled. When I got my car back I was so excited I had good tires before winter. Only to find if I go 40 MPH or over my car shakes and pulls to the left now. Customer Service Beyond Belief – I had an issue with a Road Hazard warranty and couldn't find anyone to help me until I called Dobbs Tire & Auto in Brentwood. Steve, was absolutely amazing and went out of his way to help someone that wasn't originally involved with Dobbs to begin with. Because of his willingness to help me when I really had my hands tied, I will always come back to Dobbs in Brentwood for all of my car's needs. Won't Stand Behind Their Quotes – Dobb
Dobbs Tire – I have used Dobbs in Wentzville several times for oil changes on both my car and truck. They did a great job. I have purchased two sets of tires for both my vehicles from Dobbs and the tires were great. Once I had a bad tire I purchased from Dobbs and they replaced it at no cost to me. I have no complaints about them.
Honesty is not their policy!!!! – I recently moved to Chesterfield and needed a state inspection for my 2008 Toyota RAV4. The manager asked if I wanted my oil changed for around $34.00 including checking all of the fluids and the tires and I said yes because it was convenient. An hour after I arrived at work , the manager called to inform me that my vehicle required a special synthetic oil and the price of the oil change would increase to $59.00. Not going back – Needed a last-minute safety/emissions inspection, and my regular garage (Combs) couldn't fit me in. Dobbs failed it for emissions because of a check-engine light, pulled the computer codes and said I needed a $600 replacement of a part that they admitted very seldom failed. Knowing that the computer codes can be misleading, I asked if there could be any other explanation, and was told, no, that was what was needed. Dobbs is STILL Trying to Scam Customers!!! – Why in the Hell does Dobbs still exist? Has everyone forgotten the horrible red nightmare this place was and still is? They were on the local news for scamming and ripping customers off. I remember a traffic reporter going off on a rant while doing the traffic report. I'm always happy – They have always been good to me, I've purchased 4 sets of tire there and never have been disappointed. They always price match and free rotations for life, and free flat repairs for a year. As far as mechanical repairs go they're quick to suggest things like any other mechanic. So it's always good to get a second opinion, but thats the same no matter where you go. Good management – The first time I went to this place, I thought it was like one of those quick lube places where you pull your car through. I pulled around back and proceeded to get very angry and frustrated as I waited for them to open the overhead door for me.
