Our main food is the Döner Kebab - the most popular Hand-Food in Germany. We learned the skill of Döner-Making from Turkish friends in Germany, who owned several successful stores there. I took advantage of the Spotluck discount and visited with the family. Clean, comfortable atmosphere. We all had the Brat on a bun with fries. The brat was top quality, very flavorful. The bun was among the best I've had in Maryland in 14 years. Fries were easily above average. They feature some non-traditional soda, including a "Mezzo Mix" that was a mix of Coke and Fanta Orange. So glad that there's a doner place in Frederick now. After spending 3 years in Germany eating many many doners, I was really excited about eating here. I would give it 5 stars but the store opened at 11 and I got here at noon. The toppings were in old pans and I could tell that they were leftovers from the day before. We had a great meal and are already planning on bringing our Texas family here over the holidays as well as turn our German friends on to it!
The food is delicious & they have a nice selection of German biers.
