I would like to share the whole story. DKRentals.net found a tenant for the landlord, completed the underwriting, got the lease signed and collected the security deposit and first month's rent completing everything DKRentals.net was hired to do. When the tenant went to move-in (it is a gated community) the COA said she needed to pay a $100 fee to get access. This was not disclosed by the owner. This company is terrible. I am the owner of a condo for rent, and hired them to procure a tenant and manage my contract. After weeks of screwing around with one signed tenant, he backed out of the deal, and was able to because DK Rentals didn't get a lease signed or a proper agreement signed with his deposit. He kept his deposit, I was out the time and expense, and DK Rentals didn't seem to care in the slightest. I fired them but had to pay $900 to get out of my contract.
