Dr. Kohani is the best dentist in San Diego—-heck, probably all of California. Not surprising given he’s a graduate and former Professor of Dentistry at UCLA! All state of the art work with a competent, friendly staff. Five stars in my book.
Went in for a teeth cleaning and it was the most comprehensive cleaning I've ever had! It was a little uncomfortable in the moment, but the end result was worth it. I was also considering Invisalign, but the doctor informed me that it was not necessary for teeth health and would mainly be for cosmetic purposes... I used to hate to go for my dental X-rays, dental cleaning etc. because I have a small mouth cavity and working inside my mouth would make me gag or the appliances would scratch my mouth.... Since Jill, has joined Dr. Kohani's practice, I am so grateful, I do not have any problem with being fitted with the Xray gadget or sonar cleaning or scraping....I happily relax and Jill with her gentle tough works hard to make my test shine :) Thank you Jill.

My hygienist today, Jill, was truly amazing! Her effort and ability to have me leave with a completely clean mouth was as good as it gets! I genuinely love her bedside manner, conversation, and ability to really get rid of all of the tarter!!!
This place should be renamed to Olive Garden, because when you're here, you're family. From the front staff, back staff and all the medical staff, everyone here has gone out of their way to not only treat me professionally, but compassionately as well. Before I was even a full patient of theirs, staff were assisting me with an issue I was having with a previous dental practice and went above and beyond in helping me through this process. I came in for a usual check up. I enjoyed chatting with my care providers and my teeth feel very clean!
