You guys were slammed today but excellent as always!!
I already put a separate post on this page (though I don't see it for some reason) but my friend and I LOVE this restaurant. The food is exceptional and so is the service. My friend and I ate there yesterday and though the place was packed, we never had such attentive service to make sure we had enough beverages, etc. Yes, we had to wait a little while for our food, but SO worth it. We highly recommend Dixie's!
I would give it no stars if I could. Sat and waited 15min to even have our order taken, and then another hour to even see our food ! Which we had to take to go because it took so long. When discussing our concerns with the waitress, it seemed as though she could care less. We will NOT be coming back.
Food was good. Wait time lengthy. ( wait to be seated, wait for coffee, wait for order to be taken, wait for refill of coffee, still waiting for food Coffee cups consistently dry). As Momma would put it. " You should never go to or leave a table with an empty hand". Whether that be a coffee pot, menu, dirty dishes etc. They have the possibility of something really good. Needs more training for all staff members.
