So I'm currently at Dixie house cafe and I order a chicken fried chicken dinner. First they bring me out chicken fried steak (wrong), they take it back and bring me a chicken fried chicken that's the size of a frozen patty smothered not covered in so much gravy it covers the slot for the meat. I literally had more gravy than chicken. At this point I don't even want a replacement. I stood in line for 10min, waited for the wrong meal for 25min and then the meal I ordered was BS. Always enjoy eating here! The food is always great and the service is excellent. Even tonight when there was an unexpected crowd our food still came out piping hot and delicious, and every member of the waitstaff had a smile on their face.
The food was as good as expected...but nothing extraordinary. I thought it odd that when you order a burger, it doesn't come with anything. Same with other sandwiches. The burgers were quite large, but I felt the sandwiches were overpriced because they don't come with any sides. All the platters were at least $9.50. And kids' meals were also overprices at over $6. Breakfast was very good, the biscuits were very big and homemade. The cinnamon rolls are crazy huge!! I recommend you come hungry !
Walked out . Got seated just got tired of waiting to order. Never go back.
Me and my two good friends who I care for the most like sisters we had such a good day and we had so much fun sitting there in your restaurant with great food great dessert and great company it was a great atmosphere everything was clean and all the waitresses were very polite we will be returning very soon I've also told many of my friends about y'all specials and also the great service we had
