I have eaten there numerous times and I am always very pleased with results. Besides the ribs and chopped pork, there is the corn bread, collard greens, sweet ice tea and the bake potato.
Dixie Bones is our number one favorite. Great food and great staff.
Its not made to order fresh. Food has been sitting and was barely warm when we received it. From the time we placed our order till the nice waitress brought it to us was about 3 minutes. I'm guessing it buffet in the kitchen too. The fries were hot tho. The bottled beer and sweet tea was good. Not worth going back to..

Suzy: I am sorry you did not like the food. Like most restaurants, the hot side dishes are kept on a steam table and the cold ones in a refrigerator on the cooks line. All of the dishes are made fresh from scratch everyday. Southern vegetables and dishes take hours of cooking time. The meat is smoked for 10 to 12 hours every night and is cut fresh on order. The absolute best BBQ beef brisket! Goes great with baked beans and potato salad.
My husband and I love coming here, the staff are absolutely fantastic and what can I say about the BBQ that will do it justice, well how about absolutely fantastic. I have never been let down with taste or quality when I have been here. I also highly recommend the Pecan Pie 🙂
