Borderline predatory loan company! After one full year of payments… my principal balance went up over 3k! This with automatic payment withdrawals in the amount they gave us & we didn’t miss or were late for a single payment. My advice… avoid them! If I actually stayed with them, I’d of paid them roughly 3x the original loan. It’s partly my fault, as I’m disabled & trusted a past friend who worked for the Solar company.. as reading a long contract would have been difficult.. I have been working with Dividend specifically Mariano and his team for 8 years and they are the main reason for 5 stars. Dividend makes the financing portion of the process super easy. Mariano and team are easy to contact, helpful and an overall pleasure to work with.
This company does not want your business. Tried to transfer a loan and its problem after problem. Balance needed to a certain amount first. Then they only allow one person on the loan regardless of marriage status but will take your mortgage loan which has 2 people on it into account then turn around and say you alone can’t pay your mortgage and note. Correct but guess what there is 2 incomes not one. Ridiculous policies. DO READ THE FINE PRINT.
Poor experience unfortunately, although the customer service representatives are kind and polite.
Be very wary of doing business with Dividend Finance. This company markets their business as a partner with solar installers to help consumers afford residential solar. However, when the solar installer fails to finish the job, Dividend does not seem to understand the responsibility of partnership. They do little or nothing to help their consumer/client.
