I did solar panels and a new roof through a company called Valley Voltage. They’ve been fabulous. Dividend was the company who did the loan, I had no choice. My minimum payment each month was $450, so I put a little extra towards it and paid 500 a month. My first payment was due 60 days after the loan origination date. They spun this like it was a grace period. However, what they failed to mention, was that interest was accruing at an insane rate during these two months. Do NOT use Divident, I ha e been paying them and they put a lean on my house " just in case". If I was aware that they would do this, I would never , ever used them. Thats why I want to worn others!
Dividend Finance is a complete disaster. It’s a company that throws up endless obstacles when you try to transfer your solar panel system to a new owner. They come up with any excuse to determine that the buyer doesn’t qualify for financing with them, effectively blocking the transfer of the system. I just went through a total nightmare that lasted about three weeks trying to complete a transfer that, according to their website and app, is supposed to be a simple process. Oh surprise!!! Buyer beware! We were told our payment would not change if we paid the money we got for the panels from the government. The government split this into 2 payments. So our payment went up by $100 and there is nothing we can do to lower it until that second government payment comes. This was not clear and also not new information to Dividend. Customer service was no help.
The worst company to get a loan from. Customer service is HORRIBLE. They do not care to help. In fact if you don’t have funds to pay their suggestion is to borrow from your friends. Great advice! If you have 2 auto lays going out and cancel 1, they cancel both and charge you a fee for it! They act like they never did that.
