We recently hired DRI in May, 2023 for tile and mastic removal through the owner, Richard. This followed multiple requests spanning 2-1/2 months asking for their proposal. Normally for any other contractor, this would have been considered a red flag; however, I should note here that we used DRI twice in 2020 working through Vince (Richard's son) and were pleased with their service. The workers did not show up at the agreed start time, the workers left the job before completion to "get a replacement tool." (Come prepared for the job with all needed and back-up tools) 1 of 2 workers at job site turned out to be sick (COVID?) I had to call Vince the salesman to find out if the job was going to be finished 2 hours after workers left. His voicemail was full and he never responded to texting.
