I got a bill from diversified radiology of Colorado two months after I paid for the service through intermountain health portal. The date of the service was wrong and the location of the service was also wrong. I called intermountain health and they reassured me that the bill I paid through the intermountain portal covered the service and that I could disregard this bill. Definitely getting scam vibes from the bill I received from diversified radiology of Colorado.

Absolutely horrible company. Called them on behalf of my wife. Sent us a bill, we paid it, then sent a new bill showing some of the same charges we already paid. Person on the phone claimed there was new charges related to this bill, I asked for a full itemized statement for all charges and payments related to this date of service only, was told no, they need to speak to her, she’s currently in a cardiac care unit following heart surgery, it will be months before she can talk to them. Set up a payment plan from my HSA. The practice then cancelled that payment plan the following month and sent the bill to collections. Just a incredibly frustrating experience.

They are using a company to release billing for legal requests that is charging a fee far over the Colorado statute, which is illegal, and they aren't making any attempts to correct this issue.

This company lies on medical records. They claimed they submitted my bill to my insurance and that the insurance responded that they couldn’t identify me as an insured with them but that was factually untrue. They never even tried to submit the bill to my insurance —I spoke with them and they had no record of that bill ever being submitted until I called. Extremely shady practice.
