Diversified Auto is by far the best shop I’ve ever used. They do great work and their prices are reasonable, but beyond that I know that I can trust James. I drive a 300k+ vehicle, so I’ve needed to take it in pretty frequently and I’m probably a little more aware of noises, etc. at this point. A couple of times James has either told me nothing was wrong, or that the repair could wait. He never charged me anything to look at it or tried to up-sell me. Honest, fine work...and they have a golden retriever I have a Volvo S60. I needed two valve stems replaced. These newfangled cars have pressure sensors on the valve stems and some places will rob you blind.

Honest, fine work...and they have a golden retriever I have a Volvo S60. I needed two valve stems replaced. These newfangled cars have pressure sensors on the valve stems and some places will rob you blind. Not these guys. The price was as reasonable as I have seen. And they also reset a service indicator and repaired my jack for free. And to top it off, they have a friendly golden retriever who is on the ready to prod your arm with his cold nose while you wait. 100% recommend.

Highly recommended When you look for a mechanic; honesty, trust and honor commitments are three traits that are very important. I've been a customer with Diversified Auto for almost a year and they have those traits. James made sure that my daughter's car was safe and only performed work that is needed. Honest and reasonable prices I have an older Volvo V90 (1997) and Diversified has repaired my car over the years...mostly brakes, but other service related check-ups and "check engine" problems. They've always been honest about what needs to be done and prices have been reasonable. Work has been very good. They don't keep records on what was done though, so keep your records so you can say..."No, that timing belt was replaced "X" months ago."

Worst Service Ever... My car broke down and I had it towed to Diversified Automotive in Athens, GA on a Saturday night because they worked on my Volvo before and I've nothing but positive transactions with them. I l left my key in the drop box with a note and followed up with Jimmy, the main desk clerk, Monday morning @ 8 am when they opened. They told me I would receive a call later that morning. My entire family uses Diversified I became a customer at Diversified years ago and they've always given me consistently excellent service. I recommended them to everyone in my family and now my mother, step-father, sisters and my niece all bring their cars to Jimmy and his staff for repairs. We've never had cause for complaint out of countless repairs from a variety of vehicles over the years. I've forgotten what bad auto service is like. Excellent Service at a Wonderful Price I cannot praise Diversified highly enough. I'm a young woman in Athens to attend UGA, and until I found Diversified, I was constantly getting ripped off and given the run around by auto shops. I've been told that my calipers needed to be replaced (4 years ago, for just under a $1000, and they're still perfectly fine!) and I've overpaid for parts and labor just to see my vehicle continue to exhibit the same problems. Honest and reasonable I've taken my cars to be repaired at Diversified Automotive for over 15 years. They will always tell you what needs to be done before they make any repairs and what the price will be. They charge a lot less than dealers. My only complaint is that sometimes they are slow.
