I had a fantastic scuba experience with Captain Hook's Dive Center at Looe Key. The crew was excellent—professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. I especially appreciated the captain taking the time to educate everyone about reef preservation and the importance of not touching the coral. Having grown up here, reef health is something I care deeply about, and it meant a lot to see that level of respect and stewardship. Great crew, great dives!!!
Went out on a dive charter to the reef, specifically the haystacks and the Cut. Haystacks was 20-30 feet and a nice comfortable dive with lots of fish. The Cut was a little shallower (22 feet), had some current but tons of wildlife. Saw a Spanish lobster, nurse shark and sting ray at the Cut. There were divers of all experience levels present. Staff made sure everyone was comfortable and safe. Dive master, Captain and 1st mate were all top notch...big thanks to Dave, Curtis, and Vince.
Absolutely amazing experience snorkeling Looe Key with Captain Hooks!! The entire boat crew were extremely friendly and helpful. Our private guide Ian was a joy to have with us and helped us to have an awesome experience in the water. Definitely will come back again!
My 19 yr old son was able to get his advanced course done (online before we traveled) and all check out dives with captain hooks! I was able to dive on the same trips and we had a great time! Reefs day one and the Vandenberg wreck on day 2! Cannot recommend this wreck dive enough! Great team at Captain hook’s! Vince was a great instructor for my son.
