Over a busy 4th of July weekend, none of the bars at Ocean's had mint, even the bars with specialty cocktails involving mint. Distrito is a southwestern-themed bar but even they couldn't do a mojito. The bartender recommended a margarita. I told her I didn't like margaritas but she kept pushing it anyway and didn't seem to want to make anything else so I left.
Alina is the best bartender ever. Margs were fantastic. Place was packed and she was awesome.
Update 4/25/26...Apparently they no longer use Patron resposado for their main Margarita, which is how it's advertised on their menu. Price hasn't changed and the flavor is way off. Very deceitful............ Easily the best Margaritas in all of Atlantic city. Made fresh with limes, Agave and nothing fake. Highly recommend if you enjoy margs.
Ridiculously priced ice cream. One cup of ice cream $14.
We are so bummed that this place closed. At least the bar is still there. The food was AWESOME!! We would walk the entire length of the boardwalk just to get the Mexican at Ocean. Now, it's no longer. The people that put in your order were so nice. LaShonnah was our personal favorite. What a personality...so kind & so friendly. As for the food, we loved the street corn, the fish tacos and the quesadillas. They weren't just good, they were DELICIOUS!!
