We can't imagine our pregnancy and birth experience without District Doulas. They are a caring, evidenced based team, who is responsive, easy to get in touch with, and accepting no matter what your birth plan entails (medicated, non medicated, hospital, at home). They also offer monthly prenatal classes on everything from birthing partner support to post-partum. Everything we know about pregnancy and labor is thanks to them. We’re so happy with our decision to have included Carolyn, Michelle and Jackie in our birth journey. They are so knowledgeable and had the experience and expertise I needed to help ease my anxiety for my first pregnancy/birth.
We loved working with Jackie, Michele & Carolyn throughout pregnancy and during the birth of our daughter. They all are so knowledgable, compassionate, and helped educate me and my husband so we could advocate for ourselves. Highly recommend!!
My husband and I are so grateful to have worked with District Doulas. Carolyn, Jackie, and Michele are very knowledgeable and experienced, and we learned so much in all the classes they had to offer. We liked the hands-on aspect, especially the Newborn Care class which was so helpful for practicing how to swaddle and changing a newborn diaper. Carolyn Michelle and Jackie all played a role in our labor and birth story! I can’t say enough good things about this team and how well supported my partner and I felt.
