Forgot my film camera at home and it couldn’t have been easier to come find an affordable used one. Was a great deal for the cam and film and even through in a battery and had a mini lesson to make sure I knew how to get started before heading out!
This is my first time renting a lens and it was a really easy and good experience with District Camera. Everything is reserved via their online portal to avoid overbooking of the same lens which is very much appreciated! The gentleman that works there always gives me good advice about camera since I have a beginner camera right now and I'm learning the techniques and shooting manual mode before I decide to upgrade to a mirrorless. Had a great experience with District Camera in DC! I rented two cameras and two lenses-- the online rental process was seamless and the gear was ready to be picked up quickly (despite renting it day-of). I also bought a used camera (in great condition!) and a new lens with the help of Syed, who was very knowledgable and kind.
Horrible experience. Prices are inflated and the staff are rude. Avoid coming here.
