The lack of charges brought forth in this case is disturbing. If this murder is allowed to stand under some obscure law, it sets a dangerous precedent for others to chase down people while armed and then killing them. "I saw him break into my car so he deserved to be hunted down with my shot gun". Your elected by and paid by taxpayers. Why can't you be reached? Why have your voicemails not been cleared? why are you not reaching out to the public about this execution labeled as a citizens arrest. CItizens arrest implies that one was held until the police where called. This is not the wild west. Tom Durden has incriminating evidence that Ahmaud Arbery was murdered and is still allowing these criminals to walk free. Why? We have no idea. Seems as though he is a part of a broken good ole boy system fueled by money, reputation, and racism. We had faith when the case was transferred from Barnhill, and yet Ahamud’s family is still being failed by our justice system, while his killers walk free. #IRunWithMaud
I have contacted Mr. Durden office by phone and email several times requesting information and the status on the killing of my nephew Ahmaud Arbery. I haven’t received a reply from his office.
There's only one word that can be used to describe an individual like this who has all the tools necessary to do their job, but willfully chooses not to: incompetent. Keep ignoring calls and purposefully leaving your voicemail box full too, so you can ignore complaints targeting the lack of capability to do your job that you have shown thus far.
I would like to know why an arrest has not been made for the hunting and murder of Ahmaud Aubrey. I pray that the fact that the person who pulled the trigger is a retired officer does not cloud the DAs judgment. This case will receive national attention. Act now with an arrest and charges. Our justice system must work for ALL!
