Went to see Ocean Vuong speak about his new book The Emperor of Gladness on the day of a huge storm when lots of trees were downed on the east side and hail hit in some areas of Austin. Distribution Hall was safe, they closed the garage doors briefly to dodge the rain. The event went smoothly and only a few people got caught in the rain, but we were all safe inside and luckily the rain and wind passed by quickly. Right next to Saltillo light rail station so super convenient. Amazing space for events. I was here for the Future Front market and it was bustling. Great vibes.
Wonderful place for pop ups. I went to a couple of art fairs here and it’s a great venue space with stands, food trucks outside, shaded space, and nice staff.
So fun! Great set up of booths and delic food vendors!
