The best place I have ever found to buy hard drives and housings. Unlike Amazon where the seller is often misleading you when they claim a drive is new, these guys don’t mislead. They can even teach you how to see when Amazon is NOT selling a new drive even though it is listed as new! They buy in bulk so they often have some great deals and they are both super honest AND super knowledgeable which is the best combination. These guys were professional, yet had a sense of humor. I needed a power cable fast for my laptop. I could not find one at Fry's, Bestbuy, Staples, or Office Depot. They only carried the basic stuff. DiscTech had a refurbished cable that looks brand new. I had a lot of work to do over the weekend on my laptop. My employer did order me a new cable but it was not scheduled to arrive until Tuesday. If it had not been for DiscTech, I would not be able to write this review right now, Saturday morning.
I ordered a part on Sat afternoon. The website did not specify that same-day delivery could not happen on the weekend. I sent a msg on chat and also left a msg on the phone. I received my part on Monday (2 days after ordering), having paid the premium price of $175 for same days which ended up being 2 days.
I found exactly what I needed,Brand New Old PATA interface HDD for a Dell CAD Laptop Computer that is Bulletproof and still in field use, reasonable price and snappy service, delivered to Australia on time and in good order. Great work, I will be back for more with total confidence in quality and delivery!
