Such a beautiful park in the city. We had a blast. The park is clean, everyone is friendly, vendors are reasonably priced for downtown Houston. It is a great family destination. Skip roller skating. The floor is made of a metal grate and from a family that skates weekly it's not a good floor to skate on.
Mi kids love it..many activities all age and Parkin not expensive ..super clean all around the park ..always police so we feel safe.. Super bowl was best !!! we get free tickets online to privet event ...is easy to win online ..people just have to look online events if you live in Houston more easy to win ..
Thus was my first time going..kids were playing on the grass...bees flying everywhere....the kids wanted to kayak..what a joke...line was longggggggggggg...then when you got to the front of the line..you have to pay then wait a another hour or so if you really wanted to go on a max of 30 min kayak ride....poor service...they don't even tell you there is a waiting list at all or a wait time you have to beat it out of them...then they yell at you if your not in line behind the trash filled ORANGE bucket full of bees..yes ORANG... read more

My family was thinking about going to the rodeo but we came here instead. Such a beautiful park..So many things to do. I'm taking my girls during the summer ...

Discovery Green is a great place for family fun. There's always something happening that is free or very affordable for the whole family. I love the space and location. My family is there every chance we get enjoying movies, holiday events, yoga, zumba, playground or just plain old people watching. My Family � Discovery Green
I want because my son and he enjoy alot he didn't want to come home
Love this park always have a good time when we visit. The only draw back is the restrooms. There are only 3 stalls in women restroom and this causes very long lines.
