Discover Music is the best place to buy a guitar. Discover Music is a REAL guitar store. And why shouldn't the owner be a bit testy with people who come in wanting only what's trendy, don't like his prices, and then bring in their broken guitars that they bought at KMart or WalMart and want his expertise in FIXING them! The owner is a great guy who knows more about guitars than the first two idiots will ever know. Wake up - you won't find a better guitar store anywhere nearby - and just think of the owner as "colorful!"

Rude and shifty The owner was condescending to me more than once. Next he tried to sell me overpriced equipment. I know what I'm doing. He'd degrade one guitar in preference for another until I'd reject it and pick up the one he's just badmouthed. Then it was another tune. Another time I called looking for a used amp. The owner asked how much I was willing to pay, and when I told him, he said "I can't help you." And hung up. I wouldn't go there if they gave guitars away. PROS: The one older guy there is helpful. CONS: Price,... read more

The store has 10 Instruments and the Owner is Rude- over price First of all the store has no name brands and what the try to sell you is way over priced. I was treated very rudely when I asked for my guitar inwhich was in for a simple set up and It had been there for 3 weeks and not even touched. I asked for it back and was given a bunch of lip and I am now giving the lip. Beware of this store. Many other stores in that town. PROS: NONE CONS: You walk up above other stores and try to carry gear down?

Quality Service. First off, the other two people are wrong. Ive dealt with the business for over 7 years now and have gotten quality service. The guitars are a bit pricey, but you honestly get what you pay for. I bought a Peavey guitar there 7 years back, and she still plays like new. The only thing that I find wrong with the store itself is the price of the lessons. Yes it is upstairs, but its not as bad as you would think. The owner is not rude, but very friendly so long as you don't be rude to him. Trying going at least o... read more

Discover Music is a great music store I had a great experience at this music store. I was in the market to purchase a beginner guitar for my 5 year old daughter. The guys working the counter were very patient with her trying some on for size and gave me greats tips to start teaching her at home. I was able to get her a half size guitar from a nice size selection that has a good sound. The price was reasonable and they were able to take care of all my needs.
