I have been going to discount tire ever since I can remember but now I will never go again. My daughter bought tires there in October. She just had a blow out - Jan 15. They said the tires were all bad and made her buy a whole new set. They didn't even stand behind their crap tires. They blamed her for not getting an alignment when they should have told her she needed one when they put the tires on in Oct. If you can't stand behind your tires after 4 months, you shouldn't be in business. Never again will I use them
BEST place in Franklin to have tires repaired and serviced!! Excellent customer service!!! The manager, Jeremiah will go above and beyond to help meet your needs. If you want to be treated well, this is the place to go. Very pleased!
As a technician at a dealership, I have the knowledge to back up my bad review. I went in for a set of new tires all around, they seemed nice and the service was quick. well my car started pulling real hard to the right after the new tires and a week later my low tire pressure light came on so I pulled over and put my pressure gauge on all of them, I figured it was most likely due to the cold but it was only one tire that was low. I've purchased elsewhere from time to time but ave been consistently happy with the product, service and network of support from DT stores. In recent years I've purchased from the Point Loma store, most recently from the new facility across the street from their old location. Discount Tire location in Coon rapids, Minnesota So what is the point of making appointments with a local Discount tire shop if they don't hold to their appointment times???? I made an appointment for today at 11:45am... I showed up at 11:20 because being early is a courteous thing to do. The manager went above and beyond to help me with a spare tire blowout that left me stranded 20 minutes away from his store. I called to make sure they had a rim that I needed and then I got a ride down there. They couldn't find the part they said they had, so the manager got me a higher quality rim for the same price. The apprentice gave us the wrong lugnuts so it messed up my studs. Still stranded, I called back. The manager apologized profusely, paid for a tow and sent out an associate to give me a ride home. I have done a lot of business with Discount Tire over the years, but I am done with this location. There have been too many problems. Most recently I discovered that they had installed 3 tires of one size and 1 of another on my car. Before that, they bent one of my wheels, and Rick the manager wanted to pay for only half of a new wheel because "we don't know what happened".
