I had a great experience working with Discerning Beaver. They were professional, punctual, and clearly cared about the work they were doing. What stood out to me most was their thoughtful relationship to the plants, and they approached their work with respect and intention, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find people who combine skill with that kind of care. Highly recommend!

Odaya and his team did an excellent job removing a dying street tree in front of our home. He was communicative throughout the process, clearly explaining each step of the removal and even helping us choose a suitable replacement tree. We got several other bids for the job, but Discerning Beaver came in several hundred dollars lower from the start. We had a large tree fall into our property, narrowly missing our house and blocking the street for neighbor's access. Discerning Beaver sent out an arborist immediately and had the road cleared before the city crew was even dispatched. Over the next two days, Discerning Beaver was able to remove the rest of the fallen tree from our yard, taking great care to protect the plants and shrubs that were not damaged by the tree.
