We made a day trip to OBX from VAB and decided to stop here for dinner before heading back. The waiter was super nice (tall guy, well kept beard, said he had 5 kids) and helpful. Some servers seem to hate their job (I wasn't a huge fan when I did it) but he was great and made the experience that much better. Great food, great prices! If we ever make it back, we will eat here again.
Our server Casey was excellent. Great food and atmosphere.
The food was really good, but our server ruined the entire experience for us. She didn't explain the specials, or even mention there were any, and after our food arrived I heard her explain them to another table, it was actually something that I would have chosen over my meal. Because we had a large group (2 families, 10 people) and her gratuity was included she ignored us to focus on other tables. Some of the best seafood I've ever had, our server Heather R. was quick, attentive and efficient even though she had three large parties to take care of as well. Will be back the next time we go on vacation
