I was there with a charter bus full of college girls. Met Dirty Dick himself as he cam over to meet the group. Really nice man. I had crab legs, and they were cooked to PERFECTION. Crack the shell and the meat came right out without breaking apart. Waiter and waitress (one of each to handle the group) were both really good as well. The one star is for the drinks at the bar... Worst food I ever had… Advertise king crab market price was actually queen and not that great… Save your money go somewhere else
Today was the second try here, wasn't impressed the first time, but, everyone deserves a second chance, right?! Wrong! Worst service EVER! There were only 4 people there, including myself...30 minutes to get my food? And not cooked properly, not to mention my server had to take time sitting with the other servers chatting, as I sat patiently waiting for my check! Never again!
Dirty Dick's is exactly what it's supposed to be. A gimmicky tourist place at best. There are no locals here. The food was just fine but this is the kind of place you'll only stop once. We rode in on our motorcycles waaay past lunch time and we were hungry. I got the big fish sandwich and it was A-OK. The place has plenty of nautical kitsch and an overpriced but well stocked gift shop. I left with a Dirty Dicks t-shirt. It is worth one stop.
Soup and salad bar for lunch. 4 choices of homemade soup. Lots of fixing for the salad as well as dessert. Staff is very friendly and service was top notch.

We always eat here when we go to Nags Head. The staff are very friendly. We have had their oysters, shrimp, fish, scallops, Calamari and Alligator Tail. Everything we have ordered has always been cooked to perfection! We always get Alligator Tail as an appetizer. It is the best! Be sure to stop by and meet the staff and Manager Rob and eat some delishous seafood!!
