I’m extremely disappointed with Direct Orthopedic Care. A year and a half after receiving treatment, I suddenly received a voicemail saying I was about to be sent to third-party collections. I had never received a single bill, letter, or phone call prior to this. No warning—just a voicemail threatening collections. EDIT TO REPLY TO THE OWNER'S REPLY: Since Google won't let me reply- I am not upset that you billed for a visit, I'm upset that NO ONE TOLD ME I was being charged $225 EVERY TIME. and no one told me at any point that I had a large balance. It was over the time span of four months so someone at some point should've been like hey, you have a $400+ balance. That would have alerted me that something was off. I saw one of the PA's yesterday regarding my foot pain. I did get some good information but felt like the part of my issue I was most concerned with was not addressed sufficiently. The PA literally said to me that he is "just a urgent care guy" does not know how to help me. Your website describes your services as an alternative to the urgent care and you receive real advise and care from real medical professionals. DOC was able to get me in fast and treated me very well. I would recommend going here for any orthopedic care instead of going to urgent care.
