Recently flew up from FL to purchase a 2006 Lexus LX470 from these folks. Transaction was smooth and Ian willingly drove the vehicle to a local mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection before our arrival. There was a cosmetic issue with the car that they worked with me to resolve. The entire Direct Auto staff struck me as straightforward and friendly. A solid car buying experience; I recommend them as a source for a solid used vehicle.
less than 100 miles put on the 13,500 dollar vehicle I purchased from them. And now about 4200 dollars in mechanic work. o2 censor CV axles and the transmission is going to have to be rebuilt.
We bought a SUV from them a little over a week ago now. And the Transmission went our 3 days ago! We find it very hard to believe they didn’t know it had issues. So before we ever make the first payment we have to spend around $3,000 to replace the transmission. When we called them in regards to this issue they didn’t seem bothered at all. Very clean nice vehicle and we understand things happen, but for it to go out all at once with no warning seems odd. I bought head cylinder from Direct Auto Sales, 680 Pretoria Main rd, Wynberg, Johannesburg. The guy called Dalin promised me to get me a complete head cylinder of Audi A4 2.T. He gave me wrong incomplete one. I paid R7500.00 on the 16/09/2015. Dalin is no more cooperative. He send me from pilar to post. Can somebody in Direct Auto Sales come to my rescue.
