DiPiazza's was just an awesome place in general. They have good pizza, cool people, fantastic staff, and good maintenance. Local bands get a free MEAL and free DRINK ticket, and the promoter did his job right. DiPiazza's is a prime example of what a restaurant venue should be. Not to mention the fact that they even have good lighting effects and a great soundboard. The sound actually carries to everyone outside. It's a borderline indoor/outdoor venue in that regard.. and the food is delicious.
It's a fun place to hang out, especially when friends are among the audience & performers. My pizza was slightly soggy in the middle last time I went, but it was a packed house, so I'm sure the cooks were swamped.

Saw a great show with The Ziggens and Zen Robbi. Everything was great. Music, sound, food. Staff was cool and friendly.
