super lunch specials I'm partial to the Mongolian Beef which is excellent. The hot and sour soup is also fantastic. A nice quick spot for lunch in Fells Point. They have a wide delivery area too. Great lunch special prices and you'll have some leftover for an evening snack. Parking in the evenings can be difficult so carpool or take a cab.
I Found 3 Bugs In My Food At Ding How TODAY! – I've visited Ding How for YEARS, since 1999 actually. I love the fact that their lunch specials include soup, spring roll tea, fried rice and the actual entree; however, when I took a client in for lunch today, after raving about it, I was TOTALLY embarrassed to find gnats sitting on my rice! When I explored further, they were throughout the rice as well. I made the waitress aware, and she apologized and rushed to the kitchen to bring out another plate. As we continued to look t... read more
Awesome Chinese Food – I love Ding How! The steamed dumplings are the closest thing to dim sum that I have ever ordered in a downtown Baltimore Chinese restaurant. They are very tender and full of delicious flavor. The next thing I ordered was the General Tso Chicken. The sauce was obviously homemade, with tiny pieces of orange zest and ginger in it. Fabulous. The chicken was very crispy and not greasy, like you get in other places. Oh yeah, and the wonton soup is out of this world, crazy good. Besides great food, the servic... read more
pretty good for Baltimore – Similar to previous reviewer, I'm always on the lookout for a new Chinese place in B-town. Lived in Fells point for 2 years now and tried Ding How for the first time a few weeks ago for dinner. It is really good for a Chinese joint in Baltimore. The service was fast and the food is fresh and not too salty or MSGish. Recommend the chicken with asparagus, lamb, softshell crab, and lobster. The waitress we had was very helpful and honest with suggestions. If you don't feel like driving all the way ou... read more
Great Lunch at a Great Price – I have been looking for a decent chinese place in baltimore for what seems like centuries. After seeing the reviews on this place I decided to try it out. It is actually pretty good. I got the chicken with brocolli and it was NOT syrupy..it was perfect. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. My food was ready in less then 5 minutes and it was super economical. I definitely will be going back to this place for chinese in the near future!!!
cheap for lunch – Ding How has been on Broadway for a long time, and since it never seems crowded, I wonder how they stay in business. The employees are friendly, and happily bring the food fast. I would probably grade this restaurant a C in cleanliness, so if you are hung up on a dirty knife ask for chopsticks. The menu is not long, but contains the usual cheap Chinese standards. I like this place for an occaisional QUICK lunch. You will pay about $5, and receive an eggroll, a soup, and your selection with rice. The dishes ... read more
One Word - Gross – I live right down the street from this place, in Fells Point. I have tried to give it a shot an several different occasions and it has disgusted me every time. Its the kind of chinese food that's really good in the first five minutes when you're really hungry but after a few minutes you realize just how disgusting it really is. The chicken is very stringy and dry with hard chunks and its covered with this brown sludge that tastes like molasses. The cream cheese wontons were rubbery like they were frozen an... read more

More american than chinese – I went to this restaurant because it was recommended by your site. I was truly unimpressed. I had a fish dish that was supposed to be spicy. Instead, the sauce was sweet, thick and tasted like molasses. I felt I was having dessert. If you want authentic chinese food, go somewhere else.
