Like most of the other comments here I found the front office very good to work with however Dr. Patel has the worst bedside manner, very condescending, he would laugh at your concerns, and after years of going to him I finally decided to get another endo! I realize his job is difficult and probably redundant, but to not have the empathy a doctor should show a person who is visiting you for medical issues, is unacceptable. My only regret is that I waited years to find another doctor.

Dr. Patel has the nicest front office staff I have ever encountered at a medical office. Dr. Patel was condescending and like most endocrinolgists has one way to treat thyroid conditions. Throw Synthroid at the problem and blame female hormones for the rest. Saw him for 15 minutes and felt like it was a total waste of my time. Since then I have seen a functional medicine doctor and am finally on the right track to feeling better.

He seemed ok the only time I saw him. He ordered both the radioactive iodine pill to be followed by an ablation scan. He never called me back with the results! So very disappointed because I called his office twice and both times was told they would call me with the results but it is now weeks later I still haven't heard from his office. I had to call my surgeon to get the results! I was both concerned and anxious about the results but he wasn't at all!

I wish I would have taken the advise of reviews before seeing this doctor. Hos bedside manner is TERRIBLE, disregards any concerns you tell him, and say the blood work and CT scans were false. Would never recommend anyone to this doctor, there is a reason for his open availability versus the quality doctors in Phoenix who are booked up.

I went in with a highly suspicious for cancer nodule. I went in with my sister and my son he was rude ever question I asked he rolled his eyes and made me feel stupid. O ce even saying this is English it's not in my language and not hard to understand. I as well as my family was applaud by his rudeness and he will not get any more of my business.

I have been a patient of his for several years and I feel that I have received excellent care. He listens to me if I have questions and takes time to answer them. He orders appropriate tests for the situation and not extra tests that are not absolutely needed. He makes it easy to know what's going on with you by explaining it in a way that you can understand. His office staff is his family and they are also very pleasant and efficient.

Dr Patel has been my dr for 15 years. He is a compassionate, good listener.

I visited this doctor once and that was enough for me not to want to go back. He was so rude and he didnt care to listen to my situation or story. It was more insulting when he asked me if I exercised and then started laughing. He treated me like I didnt know anything and I felt so uncomfortable around him.

Dr. Patel has horrible bedside manner. He made me feel like I was stupid for coming to see him because my thyroid numbers were "Normal" they may be normal in a range, but that doesn't mean that I don't feel well. He said "maybe you should go to Mayo" if you think you are that sick. For a first time patient or any patient, his comments were upsetting. In the meantime, I have found an Integrative Medicine doctor that listens and doesn't just look at test results.
