This doctor has a terrible bedside manner and his office is archaic- paper based without any way to send electronic prescriptions. I came in for a thyroid issue and he instead grabbed my arm and touched old scars I had asking what that was all about. His medical advice regarding the outlook for my disease was vague and he didn't respond to follow up questions so I got a second opinion and new endo.
He will lay out options and give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. he even went as far as to set up a before-office-hours visit to Discuss options with me with my mother-in-law. I thought that was amazing. He knew I was worried, and he sat through and provided me with more information to ease my anxiety.
From my experience I feel like people are mistaking his personality type, for being rude. He seems more introverted and data driven. He doesn't make small talk. He is direct . Answered all my questions and told me what to expect. He is very efficient, which gets you in and out quickly without having to wait extended periods of time in the waiting room.
Don’t waste your time. Deplorable. He asked me what I was doing there since I didn’t have thyroid cancer or a hot nodule. Well I DO have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and my internist thought I needed to see an endo. How he still is practicing is beyond me.
Horrendous. Please do not waste your time with this provider. He was rude, dismissive, and spent 5 minutes with me before sending me away with no answers. He told me if I had not been hospitalized, there is nothing wrong with me.
I called my pharmacy and they said they had to call the Dr because it was out of refills. After 6 days, i called again to see why it had not been refilled. The pharmacy told me Patel was refusing to refill it. It is very hard for me to get around because of other medical problems. I have missed some appointments but now I feel I am the subject of a vindictive patient abandonment by Patel. Looks like it's time to find a different endo.
easy to set up appointments. appointments always on time. staff very friendly. Dr Patel is very knowledgable
Was referred to this doctor by my primary doctor. The office staff was amazing. But once we got to the back and meet the doctor he was very unprofessional rude and very disrespectful. I never received such bad service from a doctors office before. I had give him a few choice words and I walk out after about 5minutes
Dr. Patel is amazing and so is his staff! They’re friendly and attentive. He listens and even jokes around with you like a good friend would! He always has time and availability when you need him and is just extremely kind. So blessed to find such a great doctor! I don’t know who these people saw but it clearly wasn’t him. Unless perhaps they just aren’t super friendly themselves. He’s a great doctor!
