Love love love the house chicken soup (& noodle soup). Have loved it since I was a kid. Taiwan still has the best XLB but they are pretty good here too :P
The dumplings are awesome , try the spicy 🌶 ones . The service was great and it wasn't expensive.

Probably the worst din Tai fung. The food lacks flavor and line is ridiculous.
Over all it's not bad. Surely better than the one in LA's Alhambra that I last went like ?two decades ago? but still not worth waiting for... wait, but this is the other side of the globe we're talking about so maybe a yes for those without alternatives.

Everything we had was delicious and fresh! It's an experience that exilerates your taste buds. My favorites are the crab and pork wonton in chile oil and the Shanghai Rice Cake with shrimp!
I tried the one in Taiwan and LA but this first one in Bay Area ,they need to improve their food quality. The XLB was so dry and no juice at all ,also just warm. The food is not worth for me to pay that much money .
The dumplings were amazing if course, as were the wontons in chile oil, and the noodles! The chocolate mochi dumpling dessert was a delicious surprise. The fried rice was pretty typical as were the potstickers. What was not great was the service. We were asked if we were ready for dessert and if we needed boxes an uncomfortable amount of times. It just got worse from there. We brought a cupcake and candle for a friend's birthday and we gave it to the server understanding that she would put it on a plate and light the candle.... read more
