Hands down, the BEST medical team ever! From the first time I walked in the door till surgery, I could not have been in better hands! Dr. Sismanis and ALL his staff were kind, compassionate, and attentive. He repaired a blocked tear duct that was infected, which was a horrible experience. The day after surgery except for the small bandage, it was like it never happened. I'm so thankful for him and his staff.
Due to an overflow of tears in one eye (possibly due to a blocked tear duct or previous cauterization for dry eyes), the tears would stream down my face as if I was crying. Dr. Sismanis performed a procedure to open the tear duct which solved my problem immediately. He explained everything during my consultation with him and also during the procedure. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Sismanis and his staff. I’m extremely grateful!!
With delicate precision, Dr Sismanis cleared my droop and walla, and with a few millimetres, my look and vision were restored by 50 years. He is excellent and so is his staff. Across the foyer is the operating procedure suite and another team of professionals and, excepting a grouch in the front office ($,-%^=), the operating room worked as a well-oiled team....at least I think so, and then I was out. My rate is 6 stars, nothing less.
Dr. Dimitrios Sismanis is a gifted and compassionate oculofacial surgeon with a fun personality that puts you immediately at ease. He truly cares for his patients and I am so grateful for the amazing surgery that he did for me to help with a blocked tear duct that had made me miserable for too long (DCR). Dr. Dimitrios Sismanis is an excellent physician who performed 2 surgical procedures on me at the MEDRVA Surgery Center at West Creek. I have a background in science and am very careful who I go to for treatment. Dr. Sismanis is professional, talented, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner.
