I was extremely happy with my experience at Dimitra Designs and working with Jasmine!! I would highly recommend this store and was finally able to find a beautiful dress after being frustrated looking for one in the town I live in. Had I just gone here from the beginning, it would have made looking for a dress so much easier, shoes too! The whole staff is friendly and I will definitely be back again!! My daughter found her dress here and it was beautiful. We paid over $3000 and then had to pay @ $800 in alterations and that was ok. Then my mom and I both found and bought our dresses here also over $600 each and then about $650 in alterations. Which the sizes were ordered more than 2 sizes too big. We tried to get them to change the size, but they wouldn't, so we had to keep them in the bigger sizes and then pay a lot to reshape them and remake the dresses. When placing special order purchases for the dresses we take measurements of the clients bust, waist and hips. We then review the size chart with the client prior to making a size choice. In this case we decided on a size 14 for both mother of the bride and Grandma of the bride. We chose this size to accommodate for the waist. If we would have ordered a smaller size the dresses would not fit in the waist. It’s always easier to take a dress in than to let a dress out. I have already reviewed this shop. It is phenomenal! Great beautiful selection! Knowledgeable friendly staff who go out of their way to please!! Rebecca who was the seamstress is AMAZING!! she did much much more than necessary in her beautiful work and making sure i could get there for fittings bc i live an hour away. She made this overweight 51 yr old look and feel beautiful! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
I shouldnt have to give them 1 star. I paid for a dress to be ordered they explained the dress will have to be ordered and made but they cant place the order until the next week. So I found a dress the next day and requested a refund. The employees that work there told me there is no manager there to talk to and I wouldnt get a refund. Then change their story and explained the manager is there but they are part time and wouldnt call me back nor the owner to waist there time on a non refund. This is my experience : I Called Dimitria Design Friday morning at 11am for a prom dress for the next day in Boston. Natalie was beyond incredible. The dress we had ordered online was not going to be arriving on time since it was at the designer store, so Natalie send me photos of potential dresses she had in the store that could make our daughter happy and have it shipped overnight. I ordered a dress from here and when received was poorly made with multiple defects. I was told that a new dress was being ordered and to send it back. When the new dress was received, it was the same dress that they tried to fix. I was clearly lied to by Diana and have emails to prove it. When this issue was addressed by a manager I was told they stood by their employee and to send the dress back. I am very unhappy with this company, as I was lied to and treated poorly.

Once she received the dress she reached out to us letting us know it was not to her satisfaction. If you're a bride with an appointment, you'll get the star treatment. If you're looking for a mother's dress or anything else, leave. I walked around in the store for 20 minutes and never saw an employee. Even went into the bridal section where customers were and didn't even get looked at. Never again
Finally have time to sit down and write about my experience with a local wedding dress shop. My daughter and now husband decided they wanted to change the date of the wedding from September to April...three young ladies had already ordered their dresses. We wanted to do what was right and pay for the canceled dresses.
