The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

The food was sooo good ! Got the smashed meatball sandwich with pesto which I will admit I was weary of , but man , was it delish ! Hubs got the Scallops- so tasty. Our waitress was great and made recommendations on some local sites . Cannot wait to go back and stuff my face with another meatball sandwich !
After spending half an hour walking around the old port my husband and I went to Dimillo's tonight for dinner. We were impressed by the friendly staff who made us feel like family right from the time we walked in. The food was delicious. I never would have paired squash with haddock but you guys did an amazing job with this. I wish I hadn't been too full for dessert to try one. Next time...

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. I am from Ocean Springs, MS so I do not have a great deal of experience with lobster. I sat at the bar over looking the water and the bar tender helped me with a quick demo of cracking the lobster and getting the meat out easy. She also recommended a great beer along with the dinner.
