The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

Had my wedding reception at Dimillos, it was fantastic! The food was AMAZING, the service and working with the staff and the owner was outstanding. They surpassed our expectations and we were so happy. Thank you Dimillos! 🙂 Highly Recommend!!!!!
Our waiter was great and the food was excellent. The wicked margaritas are good if you like a hint of habanero in your margaritas. The history behind the restaurant boat is interesting, as well.

I thought it was way too expensive for the food I got. I had broiled scallops and they weren’t done enough. My friend had a lobster roll and gave me a bite. It was cold. As many lobster rolls as I have had in Maine, I’ve never before had one with cold lobster. Yuck.
This restaurant was recommended to us by our bartender in Bar Harbor and it really was the best place for us. The beauty of being on the water, the food was perfect, and the restaurant was beautiful. This was in our eyes the best of Portland.

Went to DiMillo’s for dinner with my wife basically because they offered free parking if you ate there. That was the first mistake. Had to wait about 45 min for a table that was outside. Once we were able to look at a menu, there were very few items to choose from, especially for my wife who is a vegetarian. The prices for the items were super high, especially for what you get. Been loving Dimillos since I was a kid. My mom and uncle went all through school w the owner and I grew up with Johnny. Loving everything about the outdoor atmosphere. You will watch concerts on the Maine state pier from their fantastic ocean side deck. Everyone who comes here from “away” or back from their childhood always wants to meet at Dimillos. We just love it. This time of year...(labor day weekend) now we wait for local season 😎😎😎
Server and food were excellent. Front desk staff were not pleasant and need a new assignment. They are not people persons. Maybe dishwashing.
