The ribs at Haywood are perfection! Service is wonderful, friendly atmosphere.
We were there to celebrate Aspen's move back to WCU for year 2 & her 19th birthday! The BBQ was awesome and she loved the apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert!!
Surprisingly ribs, brisket, and smoked turkey we had were very good. They had many variety of sauces, from vinegar base, tomato base, and mustard base. Also, my wife loved strawberry Chipotle sauce. I thought the blend of spicy tomato base and vinegar base was a good match with well seasoned meats. I will go back and try other meats they offer.
Lunch was great! I had the brisket and it was the absolute best. LOVE LOVE LOVE the sides! No fried food, which I think is awesome! Was looking forward to the cobbler I had last time which I only treat myself to when I have lunch out. but was very disappointed by dessert!! I just stopped at Dairy Queen on my way home and satisfaction guaranteed! Hope they get their act together on dessert menu, but you can't be good at everything I guess.
