Dr. Bhurtel has been our daughter’s cardiologist since she was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries at her 20-week anatomy scan. We visited Dr. Bhurtel after our baby boy was diagnosed with VSD during anatomy scan at 20 weeks. Since then he has been caring for our son and closely monitoring him. We went through the most difficult time when our son needed surgery. Dr. Bhurtel and his team at VCU took good care of our son the entire time. I would recommend him and his team to anyone who are in similar situation and looking to provide the best care for their children.
Great doctor. He does a great job explaining things and takes his time. He’s available to answer any questions my husband and I have had throughout our journey with my son’s heart condition. He really seems to care about his patients and their families.
Finding out our child had transposition of the great arteries was extremely tough and unexpected. Through this diagnosis we met Dr Dilli. The day we found out he was on PTO but he pulled over in his vehicle to review the fetal echo and conference called us to explain everything. I could tell he truly cared about what he does and he truly cares for his patients and is very passionate.
