I was sent in by my PCP because my Iron is critically low and was told I needed to come to ER because it's life threatening and the doctor told me they don't do anything for iron but still tried to get me iron before getting discharged great hospital awesome staff
Worse experience in my life. I was in and out from this place for about a month. I had a mass on my cervex I also had sepsis. I also got an infection while in the hospital (c diff) They wouldn’t let me up unless a nurse was with me (good luck with that) said I was a fall risk. I fell in the bathroom as an aid was supposed to be watching me. When I was done I reached for her as she was heading out of the bathroom. I fell. They knew it was their fault, not mine. I came to St. Joseph’s hospital as a spinal patient with Barrow Brain and Spine. Every team member I’ve interacted with has been professional, attentive, timely, and overall, just so kind. The communication from the moment I made my appointment to have a consult has been clear, timely, and has left me without any questions. I went in for an outpatient surgery. When I was in the PACU recovery room I asked the nurse Lisa when I could have pain medication. She said "I don't know". I gave her 10 min to get more familiar with my case and then asked again. She rudely said "I already answered that question". I had just undergone Spinal surgery and all she did was give me attitude.
