The NP was good knowing she went through the same shoulder surgery But when it came to compassion .She said she would prescribe the limit of pain pills. But she didn't she discontinued instead. Leaving a patient like me at 77 years old with pain that won't help with anything else but the Oxycodone. My experience was far from a good one. I am an elderly individual, once I fell and fractured my ankle and Tibia bone in multiple places. Transported by an ambulance to St. Joe's E R and had surgery within a couple of hours, the next day I was transported to a Rehab facility for a week and discharged home. I was greeted by a nurse practioner for my first follow up visit at the Ortho clinic. I was in lot of pain and discomfort, my cast was removed and all 0sutures and severe swelling visible.
