I would give this place a 5 star review for the actual treatment my son received when I took him to the emergency room. They were fast and efficient and went above and beyond to get him medicine after the pharmacy had closed. However, A month later, I'm receiving multiple bills to pay. On the bill, it has a line item for "insurance payments/adjustments" where half of the total charges were deducted. I ended up paying the remaining balance. I waited over eight hours to be seen. The waiting room was almost empty and with just a couple of new faces when I was finally seen. It was after midnight. The triage nurse did not unwrap my gauze-soaked fingers because blood had stuck everything together. He said I had to wait for a room to wash them off. When I was finally seen I was given 22 stitches in my left index finger and ten in my right middle finger. Both my fingers were broken. Horrible billing department. Hard to get ahold of, don’t submit claims correctly, no follow up. Dominican Hospital is owned by a company called Common Spirit. Horrible to deal with. Agents work from home and never answer the phone.

Billing experience terrible - requested itemized statements and was sent some but not told about other bills I had and didn't find out for over a year later. Overall, bad billing experience and was on a phone-call rabbit chase for over two hours still without what I was looking for.
